Martin Kingdon Parquet Flooring and Floor Sanding Experts is a family-owned business that has been serving the North West region of England for over two decades. Our team of skilled craftsmen, with a combined experience of over 40 years, offers a wide range of services including wood flooring supply, installation, repairs, and sanding.

Our Services

We supply and install all types of wood flooring, including parquet and boards, both solid and engineered. Our services also extend to the repair, restoration, and sanding of all types of wood floors, including floorboards. We can also provide a range of special finishes, including staining, aging, and bleaching/whitening treatments.

History

Martin Kingdon started the business in 1998, initially focusing on traditional solid hardwood flooring. Over the years, we have expanded our services to cater to all types of wood floors, and in 2018, the business became a limited company, with Daniel Bialas taking over as the daily operations manager.

Our Approach

We pride ourselves on our commitment to using modern, professional equipment that is virtually dust-free. Our team of craftsmen is dedicated to providing top-notch quality and exceptional customer service. We believe in making a site visit to establish the work required and provide an accurate costing, without charging any fees. We also provide references and arrange for clients to view similar projects that we have completed.

Environmental Policy

We are deeply concerned about the environmental damage caused by indiscriminate and illegal logging, and we strive to source our wood from sustainable forests. We use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accredited suppliers wherever possible and also opt for low-VOC products where available.
